Video Submission & Release

By submitting a video clip to MySoccerTools you confirm the following:

  1. You own the footage. You filmed the clip yourself or have explicit permission from the person who did. You have permission from anyone visible in the clip (or their parent/legal guardian, if a minor).

  2. Anonymous identity. You appear only as your username (e.g. @yourname). MySoccerTools does not display your real name, and does not add your jersey number, club, or location alongside your clip. If you wear or say identifiable material or content, that is your responsibility.

  3. License to MySoccerTools. You grant MySoccerTools LLC a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, display, modify (for trimming, captioning, or moderation purposes), and distribute the clip within the MySoccerTools platform.

  4. Where it lives. Clips are stored in private cloud storage (Supabase, US region) and served only to signed-in MySoccerTools users via short-lived signed URLs.

  5. Who can see an approved clip.

    • Adult uploaders (18+): signed-in MySoccerTools members on the matching drill page (the "Community Clips" carousel), plus your linked coaches, plus admins.
    • Teen uploaders (13–17): same as adults, only after your parent/guardian has acknowledged the release.
    • Children under 13: never shown in Community Clips by default. Visible only to the uploader, the verified parent/guardian, coaches the parent has individually approved, and admins. A parent may separately opt the child in to Community Clips during verification.

  6. Coach access is per-coach. For any minor, a coach can view your clips only after your parent/guardian individually approves that coach.

  7. Retention. Your clips are kept until you (or your parent) delete them, or until 3 months after your last sign-in, whichever comes first. Admin-takedowns are permanently purged within 30 days.

  8. Your right to delete. You can delete your own clips any time from "My Videos." Parents can additionally use the "Request full deletion" button on their child's dashboard — we permanently remove the clip and its file from storage within 30 days.

  9. Location data stripped. We strip GPS/EXIF location atoms from uploads on the server and reject files that still contain them. Please also remove location data in your phone's camera settings.

  10. Moderation. MySoccerTools may reject, take down, or remove any clip at any time, for any reason or no reason.

  11. No harmful content. You agree not to upload anything illegal, abusive, sexually explicit, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights.

If you do not agree to all of the above, do not upload a clip.
