Becoming a coach on the platform

How players upgrade to a coach account, what approval looks like, and what coaches can do.

Becoming a coach on the platform

Every player can ask to become a coach. We review each request to keep the platform safe for the young players who use it.

Who this is for

  • Active coaches at clubs, academies, or schools
  • Private skills coaches and trainers
  • Parents who coach their own kids and want the coaching tools

You don't need a coaching license to apply, but you do need to be at least 18.

How to apply

  1. Open Account & Settings → Coach upgrade.
  2. Fill in: your full name, club / organization (optional), a sentence about your coaching background, and a way to verify you (LinkedIn, club page, etc.).
  3. Submit. Your status becomes Pending.

Approval

  • A platform admin reviews every application.
  • Most reviews finish within 2–3 business days.
  • We may email you for more info before approving.
  • If approved, the Coach Portal appears in your menu automatically — you keep all your player features too.

What coaches can do

  • Receive shared clips from connected players and reply with feedback
  • See a roster of connected players and their training activity (only what the player chose to share)
  • Create custom drills and assign plans (if your tier includes it)
  • Get listed in the in-app coach search so players can find you

What coaches can not do

  • See clips or notes a player has not shared
  • Change a player's username, badges, or account settings
  • Message players outside the shared-clip flow

If you're declined

You'll get a short note explaining why. You can re-apply after addressing it — usually it's missing verification info.
