A short spoken walk-through of this drill.

Goal
React immediately when possession changes: Team A presses and protects goals after losing it. Team B finds a pass or scoring chance after winning it.
Setup
Mark a 35 x 35-yard grid with a mini goal at each corner, facing inward. Place Teams A and B inside and one Team C neutral outside each side; keep spare balls beside the grid.
Drill Instructions
1. Team A starts with the ball and earns 1 point for six consecutive passes, including passes involving neutrals; restart the count after each point or loss of possession. 2. Team B tries to win possession and score in any mini goal for 1 point; Team A immediately tries to regain the ball and resume passing. 3. Neutrals support either team with two touches maximum and pass only into the grid, never to another neutral; restart with Team A after a goal or ball out, and rotate all three roles every four minutes.
Coach Tip
As the ball travels, ask yourself: 'What will I do if we lose it or win it?'
Avoid
Stopping to watch after a turnover instead of taking an immediate recovery or support step.
Adjust on the fly
Make it easier
Give Team A a point for four consecutive passes instead of six.
Make it harder
Require Team B to score within six seconds of winning possession; if time expires, restart with Team A.
