A short spoken walk-through of this drill.

Goal
Maintain close control of the ball throughout the turns without hitting the cones.
Setup
Place two cones on the ground approximately 3 to 5 yards apart.
Drill Instructions
1. Start at one cone with the ball at your feet. 2. Dribble toward the opposite cone and circle around it. 3. Return to the first cone and circle it from the opposite side, creating a continuous figure-8 pattern. 4. Use both the inside and outside of both feet to guide the ball.
Coach Tip
Keep your knees bent and take small 'foundational' touches—every step should be a touch on the ball.
Avoid
Avoid using only your dominant foot or taking large touches that send the ball too far away from your body.
