A short spoken walk-through of this drill.

Goal
Successfully transfer the ball from one end zone to the other through the wide targets after maintaining possession under pressure.
Setup
Create a 20x35 yard grid divided into two 20x15 end zones and a 5x20-yard middle channel. Split players into three teams (ex. Red, Yellow, Blue).
Drill Instructions
1. Red team starts in one end zone; Blue has 3 players in the opposite end zone and 2 as wide targets outside the middle channel grid. 2. Coach plays to Red. 3. Two Yellow defenders enter Red's zone to create a 5v2. 4. Red must complete 4 passes then find a wide Blue target. 5. Blue targets transfer the ball to their teammates in the opposite zone in two touches. 6. The wide Blue players enter their zone to support, and two new Yellow defenders rush in to press them.
Coach Tip
Keep your head up! Look for the wide target as soon as you draw the defenders in close.
Avoid
Avoid standing still; wide players must constantly adjust their positioning to create a clear passing lane.
