A short spoken walk-through of this drill.
Goal
Complete 20 consecutive passes with accuracy and control using only the weak foot.
Setup
Place two cones 5 yards apart. One player stands at each cone facing their partner.
Drill Instructions
1. Player A passes the ball using only the inside of their weak foot. 2. Player B receives the ball with the inside of their weak foot. 3. Player B takes a touch to set themselves and returns the pass using the same foot. 4. Continue the cycle without switching to the dominant foot.
Coach Tip
Check your plant foot; it should point exactly where you want the ball to go.
Avoid
Avoid 'cheating' by using the dominant foot to control the ball before passing.
