A short spoken walk-through of this drill.

Goal
Perform clean, explosive skill moves at every cone while maintaining close ball control and high speed.
Setup
Place 6 cones in a zig-zag pattern, spaced roughly 5 yards apart at 45-degree angles.
Drill Instructions
1. Dribble toward the first cone at speed. 2. At each cone, execute a specific skill move (V-pull, chop, roll, cut (inside or outside foot), feint or stepover) to change direction. 3. Accelerate toward the next cone and repeat the same move. 4. Finish the sequence with a sprint past the final cone. 5. Repeat the drill using the same skill move for extra practice or execute a different move at each cone (V-pull, chop, roll, cut, feint or stepover).
Coach Tip
Exaggerate your body feint and explode with your first touch after the move to simulate beating a defender.
Avoid
Avoid slowing down to a crawl before the cone; try to maintain a rhythmic pace throughout.
