A short spoken walk-through of this drill.

Goal
Complete the course with tight control and a sharp, explosive change of direction at every cone.
Setup
Place 6-8 cones in a zig-zag pattern, 5 yards apart from each other at 45-degree angles.
Drill Instructions
1. Dribble toward the first cone using small, controlled touches. 2. At the cone, reach your foot across your body and stop the ball with your sole. 3. Pull the ball back toward your standing leg and use the inside of that same foot to push it toward the next cone. 4. Repeat the 'V-Pull' at every cone, alternating feet.
Coach Tip
Focus on the 'V' shape; make the pull-back and the push-away two distinct, quick movements.
Avoid
Avoid letting the ball get too far away from your body after the pull-back.
