A short spoken walk-through of this drill.

Goal
Maintain a high tempo of passing and movement while keeping the shape of the triangle moving around the square.
Setup
Set up a 10x10 yard square with cones at each corner. Three players start on three separate corners, leaving one corner vacant.
Drill Instructions
1. Player B passes counter-clockwise to Player C. 2. Player C performs a positive first touch toward the vacant cone. 3. Simultaneously, Player A sprints to the vacant cone to receive the ball. 4. Player B moves to the cone just vacated by Player A. 5. Continue this rotation for 2 minutes, then reverse roles and feet.
Coach Tip
Focus on the weight of the pass and timing your run so you arrive at the cone just as the ball does.
Avoid
Standing on the cone waiting for the ball; you should be moving into the space as the ball is traveled.
