A short spoken walk-through of this drill.

Goal
Score a goal with a clean strike after navigating the course with tight ball control.
Setup
Place 6 cones in a zig-zag pattern 5 yards apart, leading toward the edge of the penalty box. Place a final 'shooting gate' at the end of the zig-zag.
Drill Instructions
1. Dribble through the zig-zag cones using the surface designated by the coach (e.g., outside of foot only). 2. Upon exiting the final cone, enter the shooting zone. 3. You have exactly 3 seconds to pick a corner and shoot.
Coach Tip
Keep your head up as you exit the last cone to locate the goal and the keeper's position early.
Avoid
Taking too many 'setup' touches in the shooting zone which allows defenders to recover.
