A short spoken walk-through of this drill.

Goal
The ball must stay within a 2-yard radius of the shooter after the first touch, followed by an accurate shot on target.
Setup
Place one cone next to the goal post (Server A) and another at the top of the penalty box (Shooter B).
Drill Instructions
1. Server A plays a firm, lofted pass toward Shooter B's chest or legs. 2. Shooter B uses their first touch to cushion the ball onto the ground diagonally in front of them. 3. On the second touch, Shooter B strikes the ball cleanly into the goal.
Coach Tip
Keep your eyes on the ball until it hits your body, and 'soften' your touch by slightly backing away as it arrives.
Avoid
Letting the ball bounce several times or waiting for it to drop completely to the grass before making contact.
