A short spoken walk-through of this drill.
Goal
Keep the ball moving continuously with high intensity and clean technique across all five variations.
Setup
Place two cones 10-15 yards apart. Split the group into two even lines behind each cone, facing each other.
Drill Instructions
Complete 5 variations for 1 minute each: 1) Two-touch passing. 2) One-touch passing. 3) First touch push to the side then pass. 4) Give and go (pass, follow, receive back, and return pass). 5) Dribble across and layoff to the next player.
Coach Tip
Stay on the balls of your feet and 'show' for the pass by moving toward the ball.
Avoid
Standing flat-footed or waiting for the ball to reach your feet.
