A short spoken walk-through of this drill.

Goal
Complete the circuit with high intensity, finishing with a low, hard shot into the side netting.
Setup
Place 4 cones in a tight zigzag (1 yard apart) 25 yards from goal. Place 2 cones 10 yards further back to create a starting 'gate'.
Drill Instructions
1. Players start at the back gate and sprint-dribble to the zigzags. 2. Navigate the tight cones using small, quick touches. 3. Explode out of the last cone with a large 'prep-touch' into space. 4. Strike the ball into the corner of the goal before it stops moving.
Coach Tip
Keep your head up as you exit the cones to spot the goalkeeper's position before you strike.
Avoid
Taking too many tiny touches in the open space; remember: 'small touches in traffic, big touches in grass.'
